Teaching ASL Classes

I am teaching an American Sign Language class at two co-op groups. One in Bath and one in Gorham. It's really going well. My students are learning their alphabet. Teaching is as easy as pie. This week in Bath I am teaching my class foods and playing a fun board game. In Gorham I am teaching  colors and reviewing the alphabet.

Quarters

Yesterday, my grandma, Mom, and I played Quarters. It is a card game. Here's how to play: First, you deal out four cards face down. Place them two on top and two on bottom. Then only look at two of your cards, without showing the other players, and put them face down again. All the cards are face value exept the king, which is worth zero.  If you get a pair, they ex each other out. You try to get the lowest hand.
It's a fun, quick game. About 1-6 people can play.

D&D Part 2

Friday we killed more undead: severed hands and skeleton archers. We almost got killed by the archers, but we pulled threw. Now we are doing a skill challenge which means we roll a lot of dice to see if we win or fail the challenge.
This has been D&D adventures. Stay tuned for more. Until next time, this has been Thor Graag. See you next week.

Sparks Ark

Yesterday my mom, friends and I went to the Falmouth Public Library to see Sparks Ark to learn about animals. David Sparks brought in a saw whet owl, a great horned owl , an opossum, a baby mallard duck, a mini goat, a boa constrictor, and a flying squirrel. He also brought in some dead dried up  brown bats.
My favorite animal was the great horned owl. They look smart. What is your favorite animal?

The Horseshoe Crab

My mom, friends and I went to Lincoln Middle School in Portland to learn about horseshoe crabs. The woman there said that they can't bite, pinch or sting you. So as we were feeding them people were sticking their fingers in their mouths. I did the same and it kind of bit me and then it pinched me. So that was a bad, but funny day.

D&D And Our Last Meeting

Where we last left off we were fighting two zombies and a wizard. We killed the zombie guards but the wizard killed me in two hits. I became a ghoul and I attacked my master aka the wizard. So we all died and we made new characters. I was a goliath and the others were a griffin and a wolf. So that's it.
This has been the D&D Adventures with your host, Thor Zeller, updateing with new and exciting adventures. Until next time. This is Thor Zeller signing off.
