Medusa is my favorite mythical creature because she can turn people into stone and she's a girlfriend to Poseidon, king of the sea. She's in the Percy Jackson series book: The Lightning Thief.The series is a must-read. You learn about Greek mythology while enjoying the adventures of Percy and his friends. We're on book 3: The Titan's Curse.

I think my favorite mythological person was Minerva (also called Athena) because she was very smart and had an owl.
Have you seen the movie "The clash of the Titans"? It is old... 1980 or so. But it has a bunch of mythological characters in it, including a creepy scene with Medusa. I love that movie. You should see it.
I liked the look of that book you were bringing back the other night. What was it called? Was it by Angie Sage? Do you think I would like it?

I've seen "The Clash of the Titans" and I want to see it again.
And, yes, I think you'd love the Angie Sage books. It's about fantasy monsters that solve mysteries.
