A Little Orc Problem

When we last left off, we were still in the castle. We killed the rest of the orcs and then we dressed up in bandits and mercenary disguises. We made some intimidation and bluff checks to sneak passed the orc-infested town. We failed. Ten orcs saw through our disguises. We had to fight them. There was a big bonfire in the middle of the battlefield so our undead wizard summoned a flame warrior who came out from the flames. He snatched one of the orcs and pulled him into the fire, killing him instantly. I tackled an orc into the fire and he burned to death. (Note: I can't get hurt in the fire since I am a Tiefling so I have a resistance of five fire damage.) Our cleric cast a spell on an obese orc. Since the orc couldn't dodge fast enough, the spell automatically hit and the orc died. All the orcs got scared and didn't attack us. We dispatched the rest of the orcs. After that encounter we saw a two-headed troll. Behind him was a door. He asked us, "What's the password?" The troll gave us a riddle to solve."What's fun to crush that has a gooey treasure inside?" The cleric answered, "The mind." And I said, "The brain." The answer was "the skull". The troll accepted the cleric's answer so we entered the door and found Morgan Freeman on the other side.
Until next time.

Winter Haven Adventures

My five fellow adventurers and I arrived in a town called Winter Haven. There, we found a Paladin, a holy fighter, who looked like Morgan Freeman. He wanted us to protect him while he purified an altar that was infested with orcs. We accepted and set off to the castle.

As we neared the castle, two orcs bombarded us with arrows from above. In the courtyard, we saw an ogre on the opposite side of the portcullis. An orc pulled on a lever that opened the portcullis, allowing two of the orcs and the ogre to attack us. As we fought these three foes, our stealthy rogue crept to the other side of the gate. She attacked the one standing by the lever. The orc got scared and pulled the lever again. This caused the portcullis to fall on his comrades, stabbing them to death with the pointy spikes. Our rogue operated the lever and let us in.

Tune in next week as we countinue our quest to the corrupted altar that needs purifying.

Kobold's Mansion

Where we left off last week, we saw some statues. My team and I saw an altar with some kobold priests. When we got closer to the kobolds the statues shot out some darts. after we got past the statues and killed the kobolds, we saw a small golden head. (It looked like the Indiana Jones Inca golden head.) We thought it was a trap so one of us shot it with an arrow. Suddenly, the wall behind the golden head crumpled to the ground and there was a secret room with three kobolds. One was a shaman and the other two were warriors with heavy armor. We found out the golden head was made of tin foil and so we discarded it. Out of nowhere a white dragon came out of the shadows and ate the kobolds. You could see them flail their little arms trying to get away and you could hear them scream as they got eaten.

So that was my adventure. Until next time,

Gingerbread Castle

On Wednesday at a local library, a librarian hosted an Iron Chef Christmas Special. My team was called Alfa. The two of us decided to make a gingerbread castle. Our base was a graham cracker box and for pillars we had two milk cartons. The four corners of the cartons were covered with graham crackers. We used frosting as glue and for snow. We also decorated the castle with Hershey Kisses, candy canes, and candy cane drops.
Have a merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Party Crashers

My D&D group and I went into a kobald mansion. The kobalds, reptilian monsters, were having a party. We crashed the party, killing all the kobalds. Now we are in a room with some statues.

Tune in next week.

Job Shadowing

On Friday, I went to an animal clinic to job shadow.
I saw a doctor declaw a cat. He ripped out the bone part of the claw. Otherwise the claw will just grow back. Another cat got neutered. I almost passed out so I left the room and drank juice.
When I was feeling better, I saw two dogs with  growths. I saw an x-ray of a dog who had a growth on his jaw. Then I went into an appointment where the dog had a growth on his eye, but the doctor got most of it off.
So that's my day at an animal clinic. I hope to do it again soon.

New D&D Adventures

On Saturday at a local library, I attended a gaming convention. There was a whole variety of games. I chose D&D.

We adventured on a pirate ship where we killed some of the British navy and jumped onto their ship. Below deck we found four statues which granted each of us one wish. My wish was to get rid of mummy rot and gain mummy rot immunity.

Then we stopped some sirens from singing because they were controlling the crew members with their song. After that we went to a pirate port where we killed pirates and stole treasure. Then we set sail.

The D&D group meets every week, so I will be writing about my new D&D adventures.
Til next time, this is Mulgerath signing off.
